i just took bonnie and tyler to thatcher with me for messiah. elder bednar was visiting our area, so ryan stayed home with the boys to catch the meetings. i was sad to miss out, but had a great time in thatcher.
bonnie and i got our hair trimmed up. bonnie's first "real" hair cut. i am totally happy to cut all the boys' hair, but i'm a little more hesitant with girl hair.
grandma and grandpa's ward christmas party was the night we got there. bonnie was so excited to meet santa. they announced that he loves cookies, so she ran to the dessert table to get him one.
back at home on saturday morning, cody and isaac went with ryan to the hospital to have breakfast with santa. they came home with all sorts of goodies they shared with bonnie.
annie's boyfriend, tracy, and his huge dog, mano, came down to thatcher with her for the weekend. david flew in from houston, so he drove over with them. we had rehearsal on saturday afternoon, so grandma put together a tea party. tracy and mano's first, but i think they liked it.
all dressed and ready for the show. david and i each had a couple of solos.
dr. bishop's last messiah as eac choir director with three of his kids there.
it was so fun to be a part of one last messiah with dad and to be able to do it with annie and david. i will miss having the opportunity to show up the day before and sing with a great choir!
ryan got the boys both off to school on monday and i got home in time for isaac to be home from preschool. cody and isaac were sure happy to have us home. they spent all afternoon showing us their santa goodies and the things they'd created while we were gone.
