disney cruise

to celebrate being done with school and as a last big vacation before we're poor med students, ryan and i went on a disney cruise. we left flagstaff right after graduation and flew to florida where we boarded the disney wonder for five days.

just kidding, that's the flying dutchman from pirates of the caribbean. our ship looked a little more like this...

the cruise first stopped in nassau, the capital of the bahamas,

where we saw lots of parrots...

(even fed some)

and watched the world famous flamingo show (i like the tall one in the middle).next we stopped at castaway cay, disney's private island for a day at the beach.
while on board, we ate lots of awesome food like this desert

served by these cool guys who traveled from restaurant to restaurant with our dinner party each night,

played ping pong and shuffleboard (both left handed....i am quite a champion left-handed....no seriously...it may be hard to believe, i won every time),

learned how to fold fancy napkins, and how to make the animal shaped towels that we found in our room each night after turn down service (elephant, lobster, bunny, swan, plus a monkey and dog),
and of course, hung out with mickey mouse! it couldn't have been a better vacation. we had so much fun and enjoyed the time relaxing without having to worry about doing the dishes or working or anything!
