summertime and the livin' is easy

well, we finally made it to summer.  here's a little bit of what we've been up to the last few weeks or so.

we sqeezed in one last trip to disneyland.

aviator minnie, chip and dale, mary poppins and bert, a bunch of dead pirates bones, cruella deville, storm trooper, darth vader, and mace windu

we convinced our friends to let us take their little boy on some rides so they could ride some big rides together for once.  disneyland is very different with little ones in tow, but still so much fun.  we even made it to fantasmic.  i think i could go to fantasmic every single day and never get tire of it.  i just love it!

i went on a hike with some the relief society sisters while ryan was off working for his dad for a very long 10 days.

we harvested our first tomato.

we spent almost two weeks traveling from vegas (to pick up ryan) to utah (for a bishop family reunion and some friend visiting) to arizona (to go to the circus with the varga family and the gila valley temple) then back home, not a day too soon.  in all the traveling, we took a grand total of 3 pictures.

luckily i can steal some pictures from my family.  i'll post about that stuff when pictures come.  it was fun to see our family and we grew to love harry potter book 7 on cd more than ever with the hundreds of miles we drove.

since we've been home, we've been a little bit lazy.  ryan got me this for a late birthday present, so we've spent probably too much time playing it.  good thing its summer.

we have done a few productive thins though, like working on our food storage.

and making these awesome pan dividers to protect our amazing pampered chef pots and pans when we stack them.

i do have some big projects in the works that i have been saving for summer break (look for previews soon).  i'm hoping i still have time to finish some of them amidst moving to a new place at the end of the month.

Hey I need to make those cool pan things! I just use paper towels, and then they always fall off so I end up having nothing on them! I need to take advantage of your craftiness and we should do some more crafts together :)
