finito!

you may remember the $5 dresser i got at a yard sale last summer that started out like this...

went through this...

to look like this...

and now...

i've been mostly done for well over a month, but tonight a good friend from church (who agreed to help me if i would agree to chaperone a stake dance....even though he'd already agreed to help me several weeks before) helped me fix one of the handles that 'somehow' got drilled crooked. so now it's totally finished.  it feels pretty good to have refinished a dresser and see it go from bad to worse to pretty-dang-awesome. 

yes, it's true that its in a closet right now.  i'm just waiting for ryan to study hard for his boards so we can get rid of his ginormous desk and make room for my beautiful dresser in our spare room.
