done!

april 12th was a day of great celebration at our house.  it marked the last day of 'i will pay you to let me work' - or in other words - ryan's last official day of medical school!

i hurried and made a little banner and cody helped me blow up some balloons before ryan came home (earlier than expected, but with warning) and we had a little 'yay walrus' moment

(for those who have read 'where's walrus?' and if you haven't you should and you'll see what we mean)

kelby and hunter were nice enough to watch our boys for a couple of hours so we could go out for a celebratory date.  we went to a mediterranean place in downtown claremont and then got ice cream at a little homemade ice cream shop down the street from the restaurant.

head to texas to look for a place to live

 have four weeks until graduation

can go to disneyland as a whole family every day

will move in six weeks

start residency in eight or nine weeks

many upcoming changes, but we're excited to have finished this little stage of life and medical school.  now on to a new state, a new job, and many new adventures!
