we've been keeping up with our group date nights pretty well about every month or six weeks. jenn and brandon wilkinson hosted this month. we went out and played disc golf at the park and then headed to a hibachi grill. i've never been to one (not really my favorite kind of food), so it was quite an experience and tastier than i expected!

there was talk of going out to chiller bee (a frozen yogurt place) after dinner, but when we mentioned that we had at least enough pints of blue bell ice cream (which ryan brings home from work from time to time since they get all they can eat!) for each couple to share in our freezer, it was decided we'd go back to our house. the boys played games in the front room while the girls chatted in the family room until we thought we'd better all get our kids home to bed.
