just bonnie

bonnie is growing up so fast.

she loves to facetime (and it makes a great way to practice tummy time).  here we are facetiming with aunt nicole who, it turns out, was in active labor but hiding it well.  she had atlas the next morning!

bonnie has learned to love helping in the kitchen already.  this tiny spatula is just her right size, as isaac would say.

she's also started helping with some laundry.  mostly grabbing already folded clothes to eat.

this is the dress that caitlin wore to our wedding.  so fun to put it on our own little girl nearly nine years later.

she loves her little baby.  when i lay her down for a nap, i'll hold out her baby and bonnie will reach her arms out to hug it.  i just love this picture :)  this is how she looks for most naps these days.

some days its a bit more of an 'eat the baby' day.

rolling over started happening around the 14th, so learning to sleep on her tummy happened shortly thereafter.

i fell in love with the bonnet bonnie wore at our family reunion in may.  i made it for a pattern i tested back before cody was even born and found it just in time to take it to arizona.  since then, i've made a few more and love all of them!  a baby in a bonnet is just too cute.

here's a picture on her four month birthday.

no outfit is complete without a satchel (courtesy of isaac)

she finally tried out the swing.  mostly its too hot for me to want to be outside, so the boys play outside while bonnie and i hang out in the a/c.  she didn't seem to love it, but didn't hate it either.

i managed to catch a little bit of giggling (excuse my maniacal laughing - whatever it takes, right?)

we all sure love this bonnie lu.  she sleeps through the night about two out of three nights, rolls back to front about as fast as she can, but saves her giggles only for the most special moments - usually having something to do with isaac.  she is lucky to have two brothers that will love her and protect her!
