fall bits and pieces

cody still loves playing with his legos often.  now he likes to make his own creations instead of just following the directions.  its fun seeing his creativity grow.

this is what cody made himself for dinner the other night:  bbq chicken, sweet potato fries, rainbow carrots, pomegranate seeds, and bread'n'butter pickles.  and yes, he ate it all.  not a far cry from the sandwich ryan ate on our first date.

ryan got me a coloring book for my birthday.  best. stress. reliever. ever.

we go to the park pretty often with kimmie and her girls.  isaac decided he was going to be a puppy and was 'fetching' a stick

yes, a bit gross, but too funny to not catch a picture or two.

grandma left this project that they didn't get to when she was visiting and cody has been begging to do it.  i let him sew it together and then gave him the glue to put on the eyes and the body parts.

i'm pretty sure that no finger was going to make it inside that finger puppet.  isaac sewed the frog all by himself.

i can't resist a little boy reading to his sister.  melts my heart.  she's always so much more attentive when they read to her.

who needs a sand box when you have an empty garden plot.  these boys could spend hours out there every day.

we have been meaning to go out with some friends to top golf for well over a year and finally got to go.  it was fun, but i am really really bad at golf - even when its just for fun.

isaac laid out this nice bed and showed me where he'd made a spot for bonnie.

grandma berta treats the boys to rides by kroger when she comes.  the boys ask every time we go if they can ride it.  i finally actually had some quarters, so i let them hop on together.
