isaac had his first preschool field trip this morning - to the show low airport. bonnie and i got to tag along (some of the planes were pretty noisy)
we met some of the flight team from sunrise air and got a tour of their hangar and some demonstrations (they do medical helicopter and plane flights).
the helicopter was outside for the kids to climb through and check out.
and while we were watching some of the demonstrations, the plane landed. we got to climb inside and see how little space there is!
cody's primary teacher, sister davis, is a flight nurse. she was on the flight that had just come in.
there are two different preschool classes that miss nikki teaches that came on the field trip together.
miss nikki comes up with the cutest snacks to go along with whatever they're learning about!
we have loved miss nikki's class so much so far. isaac comes home with all kinds of new knowledge - like when he told me all about sound waves and how they hit our ear drum and about the bones inside our ear that help us hear. its been so fun!
