two weddings and a funeral

ok, its really four weddings and a funeral....and there was no funeral.  but there were two weddings i went to in april.

the first was up in utah.  the wedding of one of my most bestest best friends in the world

nisha rowin halversen
(yes, for those who know nisha's name....i spelled it 'wrong,' but it fits better :)

does she not look so beautiful?

it was so awesome to be at her wedding, sitting next to our other best friend, tish.  tish was on her mission when i got married and nisha was on her mission when tish got married.  this time we finally got it figured out and were all there together.  tish and i even got to compare our big, 10-days-apart bellies. :)

it did snow and it was super foggy (so much so that we couldn't see the temple until we were in the parking lot), but it was a beautiful day for a wedding.

while in utah, i got to hang out with beth and her girls a bunch doing lots of fun things that we didn't take pictures of.  we did get a picture in when we went down to provo to visit julie, who was visiting her family at the same time.  on the way there, we picked up my mom at the airport, so it ended up being quite a reunion!

here are all the nieces.

(don't you love maddie's fire-y red hair!!)

here are all the girls at our mini reunion....plus a little boy on his way.

it was a fun quick trip that was luckily a flying trip.

a few weeks later ryan and i drove over to arizona for his brother, sean's wedding.  ryan had a bunch of tests the next week, so i did most of the driving while he doped up on dramamine and studied in the car.

as with the first, it was a beautiful wedding.  no snow, no fog.  just beautiful, bordering on hot, weather in phoenix.  (i think i was the only one who felt like i was roasting....pregnancy...what can i say?)

check out this lovely couple!  so excited to welcome nicole to our family!

We had tons of fun hanging out with you in Utah, although it was freezing and never stopped snowing.
