our disney passes expired in march at the end of ryan's spring break, so we spent a few afternoons/evenings there after i got off work. our last few days were bittersweet. we finally got to do some of the more low-key activities (since i couldn't ride the big coasters). we enjoyed learning some turtle-talk, getting an animation lesson, and visiting the beast's library.
we made sure we got prime seats to the fireworks in front of the castle since we usually see the fireworks over by the rivers of america. it was so worth it to see how they integrate the castle and all of mainstreet into the show.
(sorry the picture quality isn't great. we got a new camera we're not quite used to yet)
the weather was pretty gray all week, but we did manage one last fantasmic showing. i think i could watch it every day and never cease to love the magic of it!
here's the view from our last day in the park...
see all the umbrellas, the ponchos, the puddles, the udder lack of people? it was pouring pretty much the whole time we were there. sometimes that makes for a nice, less-crowded day....but it was mostly just wet and cold. we rode a few more of our favorite rides, but went home pretty early.
i'm starting to miss being able to head down to disneyland whenever we wanted, but we definitely had a fun year there!
