since the last time we were here to visit, grandma and grandpa varga have acquired a little brood of hens. cody has loved going out to visit them each day.
grandpa let him help gather eggs on monday.
cody even tried to help by taking the eggs out of the basket, but luckily grandpa's fast enough that no eggs were broken.
later on, grandma let us help give the hens some scraps of food we'd saved throughout the day. it was quite a feast for them.
they're so fun to watch. i'm sure they will provide countless hours of entertainment for all the grandkids through the years.

Chickens make Grandma/pa's house even MORE fun. It is the highlight of every visit and is a constant request for days after each visit.
