wednesday was the last day of school, so we loaded up and drove down to annie's for a little fun on thursday.
the kids decided they wanted to try one of the lemons that grown on the tree next door to annie's house. not so tasty...
we found a fun little splash park to try out since its already hotter there than we'll ever get in show low.
bonnie wasn't too into it. turned out she had a fever again and mostly just wanted to sit with me.
friday morning we went to a little nature preserve nearby. there was a little dinosaur pit the boys liked.
by the end we were prolonging the shady parts because it was getting so hot. we were glad we'd left early!
we stopped at bashas on the way home and let each of the kids pick out a donut. too bad cody and isaac didn't really even like theirs. it was still a fun thought.
when we left annie's, i had to replace some of our dishes and the little mall where the store is has one of these carousels for a quarter per ride. totally worth it!
