we celebrated cody's 6th birthday this week!
he loved opening his presents and had great help :)
he got a watch, a ton of water guns, a book, binoculars, and a big lego set. the water guns have been perfect to play with outside in the warmer weather.
he chose to have german pancakes for his birthday breakfast and loved the balloon he got.
my cousin, jennie, and her family are up visiting her in-laws and called to meet up. cody was thrilled to have friends to play with on his birthday, so we met up at a park in pinetop.
i can just see pictures like this in my mind of when we were little kids hanging out together.
there's a little lake with a trail around it, so we did a little nature walk.
cody was glad he'd brought his new binoculars. we saw a few birds gulp down big fish whole!
we had dinner at the r&r pizza buffet - which cody loved. they even let him pick what toppings to put on a pizza to put out. we came home with just enough time for cake before bedtime.
we sure love our cody-boy! he wanted us to remember that he got a lego set, loves applesauce, likes to play in trees, and just finished kindergarten.
at his 6 year check-up he was:
61 lbs (97th)
4 ft 1 in (97th)
