we heard about an awesome little campground about 30 minutes away, so we decided we'd check it a couple of weekends ago and just stay one night to see how cody would fare. we recruited our friends, the walker's, to go with us.
we spent the afternoon lounging around in our tent.
we had the traditional tin foil dinners and cobbler for dinner and a great breakfast of eggs with sausage and dutch oven potatoes.
cody did great, but let's be honest...he slept through most of it as he does through most things.
before coming home, we hiked along lytle creek for a while and found a huge blackberry patch. we filled as many little cups as we could find (and also our bellies), but we definitely want to head back for more soon!
the whole camping endeavor wore this little boy out.
