david and julie brought a couple of workout videos, so we got a good workout done first thing on tuesday. even caitlin and ashlee joined in and were pretty good! i felt bad for ryan studying just below us who probably thought the ceiling was going to collapse on him.
we found what we thought was going to be the perfect spot to play in the lake only to find out it was a bit of a drop off instead of a beach. the swim area opened close by an hour or so after, so we just waited and played in a grassy area for a bit.
the swim park had some inflatable toys out in the water that you could use if you passed a swim test. the boys headed out first.
it was pretty hilarious to watch them try and get on and move around. let's just say that most of the other people out there were about 2/3 of their size.
annie and beth took a turn out in the water later in the afternoon.
the kids had a great time playing on the beach and in the shallow water.
grandma and grandpa made fondue for dessert and had it with the kids before bed. they played babysitter for the night and sent the siblings out for a date night.
we found a bowling alley and decided we'd all bowl together on one lane. we thought it might take forever, but it was actually really fun to be able to watch everyone and we kept things moving pretty well.

annie and beth dressed up like twins from head to toe for the day. they couldn't fool any of us though :)
partway through our game, midnight bowling started. chris' long white socks looked pretty awesome in all the black lights.
now i know its a bit blurry, but i had to document my AMAZING win. do you see that 177? that's me. never happened before and it will never happen again!! no one was more shocked than me!
