we had run a couple of errands this morning and stopped at a yard sale on the way home. i just did a quick dash and left all the boys in the car. i ended up finding some wonderful treasure! they had two unopened knight costumes that i knew cody and isaac would love!
they could hardly wait to get them home and try them on!
we found a recipe in a magazine for jammy scones. grandma berta has a good recipe for currant scones that she makes for tea parties, so we thought we better have a tea party to try out our own scone recipe. no complaint from these two! we made it a tea party lunch :)
and last exciting news, we found a bunk bed (with a trundle) on craigslist and put together the bottom for cody today. he was super excited to sleep in his 'new bed' and both little boys loved being 'best helpers' while we got it all set up.
maybe one of these days we'll set up the top bunk for isaac (once we get the guard rail from the people we bought it from) and i'll take a picture of the new set up.
