cody asked every single day after swimming lessons if we could go to the park (its all in the same little complex). one day, in a moment of weakness, i agreed. it. was. so. hot.
somehow they still had fun
a lot of the playground was too big for isaac, but he had fun trying the small stuff
this playground has a bunch of educational stations. i think cody went to each one and listened to every button. this one was all about water.
isaac loves dumping the pieces out of this puzzle (that doesn't fit into our puzzle box), but now he's getting good at fitting the pieces back in.
one day after nap time, cody and isaac decided they needed blanket capes. they may have several capes in the dress-up barrel, but nothing beats a good blanket!
one of our dinners this week had olives in it, but i didn't need a whole can. cody and i taught isaac about putting olives in each finger and eating them off.
it was definitely time for some haircuts at our house. its sure funny to see the variety in color between ryan, cody, and isaac (gradually lighter in that order). i keep wondering if cody and isaac will end up with our dark hair or keep the lighter brown that some of the varga family has.
we've been having lots of fun with the summer reading program this summer. it finished up this week, so the willis library had quite a party. outside the library they had a little fenced in area with lots of animals to pet (donkey, chickens, goats, deer, sheep, rabbits, and a piglet that was having a great time digging in the mud). it was fun to see isaac's first interaction with all the animals
inside the library was a clown making balloon animals. isaac requested 'pish' by name (along with the sound a fish makes)
and cody asked for a rabbit.
