we had a series of visits this week. grandpa bishop drove back from arizona with david and his girls (julie had a fun weekend with her sisters planned in utah) after their spring break. julie brought him up here on monday morning with maddie and lily. the kids had a great time playing for a little while since we haven't seen them in a while.
grandpa was here until wednesday....and somehow we didn't manage to take a single picture. sorry grandpa!
annie quit her job a few weeks ago, so she's been visiting everyone. she came out to visit the houston crew overlapping with grandpa. there was a major problem with her flight, so instead of getting in at 11:55 pm tuesday she got in at 5:00 am on wednesday! we went to story time with a car-full and grandpa read lots of books to the boys. we found this fun one with a hole in it....

cody and i took grandpa to the airport on wednesday afternoon while annie and isaac stayed home and took naps.
annie and i had lots of fun while she was here, too. she somehow got me to fill out an ncaa bracket, so i actually followed the tournament while she was here...not so much after she left. she and ryan even watched a few bits of games.
thursday afernoon, i started having some contractions, so we hurried and got our pedicures done in case the baby decided to come that night or the next day...
no such luck. annie and i did go on several walks to see if we could move things along. i often pulled both boys in the wagon. even with all the walks, nothing progressed.
we did each others hair and got a same-same picture.
on friday we drove down to david and julie's to help celebrate david's birthday with pizza and cake.
luckily they didn't to a candle for each year or the house might have burned down ;)
we left annie at david's house that night. she went with them to the houston rodeo and saw brad paisley on saturday. ryan and i thought about going with them originally, but decided it might not be a good idea since it was about 9 days before my due date (and isaac was 9 days early). no baby, but i wasn't feeling great that night anyway, so i wasn't as sad to miss it.
it was sure fun to have so many visitors to help pass the time faster while we wait for this baby to come! we wish he or she would have decided to make their appearance when grandpa or annie was here!
