david and julie are getting their house ready to sell. they had an open house on saturday morning, so they met my mom and the boys at the woodlands children's museum to get out of the house. grandma took lots of pictures and it looks like they had lots and lots of fun!
ryan and i got to go on a little date while everyone was gone. bonnie tagged along, but didn't intrude. we did a little disc golf at the park and then went to the airport to have lunch at the black walnut cafe. delicious!
the boys thought it would be great fun to dress their animals up for church on sunday, so we found some old/outgrown ties. they were a little disappointed when i wouldn't let the animals come to church with us.
we didn't ever take any pictures of the matching kids on easter, so we took a few before church with everyone dressed up.
my mom stayed home with bonnie and let me go to church with ryan, cody, and isaac. people were a little confused to see us there with no baby.
grandma told 'it looked like spilt milk' on the couch and isaac just kept telling it after they were done.
every morning, grandma and the boys read stories in her bed while i got a little extra sleep. grandma's last day was the first time bonnie joined them. she loved story time with grandma.
we'll just pretend these are pictures from bonnie's first real bath....even though they're really from her second. she loves the warm water!
and the snuggly warm towel afterward.
we left for the airport early enough to stop by 'five guys burgers and flies' (as grandma and cody like to chant). cody loved his hot dog enough to eat his and most of isaac's.
isaac mostly just ate peanuts. he was very particular that they needed to be shelled and have all skin removed before he would even pick it up.... just a bit o.c.d. sometimes.
we're so glad grandma came to spend some time with us. i felt good enough that we probably could have survived without her, but survival is not nearly as much fun as time with grandma around!
