fun stuff in may - brothers edition

cody and isaac are totally obsessed with the three billy goats gruff.  isaac has even gotten very good at telling the story.
(not sure why this is sideways)

we checked out the book from the library a couple weeks ago and they've loved telling the story.  they knew it so well that we acted it out for family home evening.  after that they wanted to act it out over and over.  i finally showed them how to act it out with their ducks.

they even shared the biggest billy goat duck with bonnie :)

one day the boys were making 'music' by shaking things in their metals pans.  then one of them would yell 'hit it' and they'd hit the floor.  it was so funny to watch over and over and over.

having some quiet/reading time

i found a little workbook at target and cody has loved doing the activities.  he's getting so good at tracing and writing the letters, but isn't very motivated to do it anywhere aside from in the book!

cody and isaac answered some questions about grandma.  funny stuff.

cody and isaac like to play this game where they make each other into sandwiches with the pillows.  cody told isaac to make him into a sandwich, so isaac got the veggies from his kitchen :)

fort and movie on a rainy, rainy day.  too bad my super fun idea totally backfired and i had super whiny boys when the movie was over...

cody built quite the city for his dinosaurs!

we had so many rainy days the past few weeks that i felt like we had to take advantage of a little outside time.  the boys asked me to draw a track, but i'm sure it wasn't nearly as cool as grandma's.

sometimes we need a frozen yogurt break at sams

feeding bonnie a bottle is about the most exciting thing in the world!

old diaper boxes make the best toys!  cody built himself a jet.

we went for a walk down to cachet's to deliver some stuff.  on the way back, cody and isaac picked flowers all along the way.

cody ended up with quite a beautiful bouquet for me :)

apparently sometimes time out is just too exhausting, so you have to sit with your nose on the wall instead of standing.

this blanket has so many uses!  he brought it to me and said "will you put on my cape so i can fly?"
