this week was a preschool field trip. kimmie scheduled us a trip to a place called 'little beakers' where the kids could do all kinds of science experiments. it was so much fun! our boys light up at the mention of a science experiment, so it was perfect for us - to be able to do all the experiments and none of the clean up :)
the first experiment we did was with a balloon and some pepper. after we saw the pepper 'dance' we stuck skewers through these balloons without popping them.
one of our very favorites from the day was 'elephant toothpaste'
it just kept growing and bubbling.
a lot of the experiements were similar, but cody and isaac loved gathering supplies and were so good at listening to the steps and following the directions just right. we really had a blast for the two hours we were there. we may go back with one more adult and one less baby. bonnie was good, but definitely got bored since she really couldn't touch anything.
