we love legos around here. i love to see the things the boys come up with.
"i have a water machine that can fly and boop bellies."
when the weather isn't good, we have to get a bit creative. kimmie invited us over to the gym at her apartment complex. we had fun playing with rocket balloons, regular balloons, cars, and just running around. glad to get energy out somehow!
bonnie kept her sunglasses on the whole time.
got to take advantage of pi day (3-14). we don't usually finish a whole fruit pie when we make them, so we settle for a chicken pot pie for dinner and tiny apple pies to share for dessert. delicious!
isaac showed me over and over at the park that he could climb the spider web. he's getting so big.
i somehow remembered st patrick's day this year. i added a bit of green to our oatmeal. the boys loved it and have asked for it over and over. unfortunately, it didn't taste quite normal so i'm not too excited to do it on a daily basis. we even had corned beef and cabbage for dinner and tried out irish soda bread. hopefully next year i can get the bread cooked all the way so it tastes a bit better.
i've been going through and clearing out some of my old clothes. i found this shirt nisha gave me back before i got married. it was a bit small for me, but fits cody. i love seeing him wear it and remind me of one of my very best friends.
we've been playing a lot of uno around here lately. we played it at a game night at the weaver's and i realized its a game the boys could easily learn. i was right and now they want to play all. the. time. we have fun though!
sometimes while i get ready in the morning, i'll let the boys watch a show. i came out to find them like this. if only they were always so sweet to each other.
i found a bike at a yard sale for $6 last week. it needed a new tire, so cody helped ryan get it put on.
he's pretty much thrilled to have a bike that's his size (a bit big actually).
we definitely need to get some training wheels now. its hard to keep up when you're holding a bike this big of a bike with wheels that move so fast!
isaac pushed bonnie around the garage while ryan and cody worked. he's such a good big brother to bonnie! i went to get crying bonnie in the other morning. she stopped before i got to the door and i could hear isaacs tiny voice driving "bring back, bring back, oh bring back my bonnie to me, to me"
we're getting ready for lots of excitement in the next few weeks with a trip to visit marianne's family, a visit from aunt nicole and atlas, bonnie's birthday, and then a trip to arizona to (hopefully) find our new house!

Isaac singing to Bonnie is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard.
