our very best friends

i'm sad to say i don't have more pictures of this amazing family that we love.  kimmie and i became fast friends almost two years ago when she moved to texas.  we can (and do) talk about anything, have the same interests (except most of our favorite foods), and have pretty much the same parenting style and opinions.  i quickly discovered i could almost never have kimmie just watch my kids while i went to do anything because i'd rather just hang out with her and her girls.  we have spent as much time as we can hanging out before we leave in june. 

we planned a last minute night out on a very rainy day.  we went down to market street in the woodlands and discovered that they have umbrellas on market street that anyone can use between stores.  such a perfect idea!  we did a little window shopping, got some gelato, got a little soaked.  all fun.

its been raining like crazy, so on a clear afternoon we called up the girls to see if they wanted to go for a hike.  it may or may not have been a bit muddy at some parts, but we still had a great time.  cody found this bench and said we needed to sit and take a picture.  done.

it was lucky we did our girls night out last weekend because i got a call around 5 this morning.  i initially just hung up, but when i registered that it was kimmie and she could be having her baby i called right back.  since it was sunday morning, i drove over and hung out until the girls woke up.  we got ready for church and then went to our house for breakfast.

kimmie sent me these pictures during primary, so i snuck into nursery to show kate and pulled olivia in the hall for a minute to show her.  they were both so excited for their new brother!!

andrew picked the girls up after church to take naps before going down to meet their brother, miles andrew.

ryan was nice enough to let me skip out early from dinner to go down and spend a little time with kimmie and miles.  i can't believe i will only get to know this precious boy for three weeks before we move!!!  and i don't know what i'll do without kimmie!
