we have survived the week. bonnie was actually quite normal and pleasant. we did lots of pants wearing and a bit of sponge bathing to keep this stuff on and clean (without a little girl pulling on it), but life was pretty average otherwise.
we went in after five days for stitch removal. since we had to wait a while, we took some selfies :)
dr. ibraham is a big bonnie fan now. he loved her in her sunglasses. he picked her right up, handed his phone to the nurse, and asked her to take a picture of them in their matching glasses.
so now the stitches are out and we have steri-strips to keep covered for a while longer. hopefully that scar doesn't stay that ugly for her whole life :(
to help get through the week, we did a bit of playing at the park. we love this little park in panorama village that we discovered.
both boys insisted on taking bonnie for a ride on the merry-go-round.
i tell ya what though, when its as hot as it was this week, you just have to go to chiller bee. (cody also stayed dry three nights in a row, so we had double excuses).
cami watched bonnie for a few minutes one morning this week and sent me this sweet picture of bonnie discovering their little baby ducks.
