we got texts with pictures from time to time while the kids were gone. they left as soon as school was out on friday so they could make it down to thatcher in time to see grandpa's students perform at the fair.
this also left time to try out some of the rides.
bonnie loves to play with 'grandma's girls' on the fridge and dishwasher (magnetic dolls you can dress up)
and grandma said all the kids were such good helpers when it came to cleaning up.
the big project for the week was digging out one of the garden beds to make room for new mixed dirt.
they wouldn't even let grandma help pull the wagon.
they took a fun drive out to apple annie's to go to the pumpkin patch
they got lost in the corn maze
and had a great time playing in the pit of corn!
they also created these great wooden structures with grandma and brought them home. they have since become hours of great entertainment. they make great for housing alien or astronauts
and look quite a bit like a halloween graveyard in the morning sun.
i'm sure grandma and grandpa were exhausted after the kids were there for so long!
