ryan had monday off after we got back from arizona, so we took advantage of the day and took a family trip to disneyland. we love seeing it all decked out in its holiday colors and i'm pretty sure 'smallworld' at christmas is my very favorite ride of all time. we went straight there as soon as we got to the park.
once we got off the ride, we grabbed some great seats for the christmas parade - also another favorite of mine. i just love the wooden soldiers!
cody thought the parade was pretty awesome and loved pointing out things he recognized like gingerbread men, snowmen, mickey, and santa.
we even caught mickey just in time later on at the jingle-bell jamboree. cody loves 'ic-key' and gets so excited whenever we see him.
after the halloween jamboree, we thought cody would enjoy bill hill and the hillbillies again. he definitely loved to dance and stole the show several times.
the country bears even came to join the show at the end and played some jingle bell toss games with the kids around.
cody and i took another trip down to disneyland a few days later with asuka, misa, and maia cuff to catch the holiday magic one more time. we, of course, made it onto smallworld.
and then hit up a few other quick rides before lunch.
cody totally sacked out after lunch and we just took a break in california adventure while asuka took her girls on a few rides.
we'll sure miss all the holiday magic, but luckily pretty much everything is magical at disneyland all year long :)
