we have a bit of an unintentional nativity collection at christmas time and i like to keep track of where they came from and when we got them.
this year we were able to add the final pieces of our willow tree nativity with the wise men. my parents have been giving us pieces of this nativity since we got married.
annie brought this nativity back with her from chile. she has gone to south american several times now for work and gets to find all kinds of neat things.
cody's favorite nativities was one of our 'open early' christmas presents from grandma and grandpa varga. we opened the fisher price little people nativity one morning before church. he couldn't hardly put it down and tried to take the stable out to the car to go to church with us. he loved playing with it and finding the 'baby' and 'momma' all through the season. its such a perfect set for little kids!
we also have a collection of santa ornaments from the places we've lived and visited during our marriage. this year we added two.
one from our trip down the oregon coast
and one from santa monica that well represents our time here in california
