i suppose that since david and julie don't update their blog much, its my duty to introduce the newest member of the bishop family and our littlest niece.

its so exciting to be close enough to be able to see a new baby the day after she's born. cody and i drove down to pick up maddie and bailey the morning after lily was born and got to stop by the hospital to meet her. maddie and bailey were meeting her for the first time too and were so excited.

cody, of course, wanted to hold 'liwy' too and gave her lots of kisses.
the two new big sisters came up to stay with us for a couple of days over the weekend. we had plenty of fun with tea parties.
and swimming.
(it has rained every other time they've come to our house to stay, so we were happy to actually be able to go out and swim)
maddie doesn't usually like to have her hair done, but when she came in from swimming she asked me to do it for her. i asked her if she wanted it to be like a princess crown and she sat perfectly for me to braid it all the way around.
its so nice to have these guys close by. any time i ask cody whose house we should go to, he says 'maddie and bailey's house!' he loves being able to play with them and i love having them come to visit and entertain my boys!
