isaac getting to the 7th month and cody going on 27

isaac and cody keep growing and growing and get to be more entertaining every day.

at his last dr. appointment i had to answer a questionnaire about isaac.  it had some questions about mirrors and i realized isaac hadn't had much experience with them.  we had so many mirrors in our room in california when cody was a baby i didn't even think twice about it.  i thought isaac should meet his handsome self, so i laid a mirror down while i got ready for the day.  isaac thought it was great fun.

this kid loves to eat.  he's a bit impatient about it if anyone else is eating, so we've incorporated the use of the little net thing to help him feed himself more often.  he goes to town on it.

cody had his first ice cream cone in july.  he wasn't quite sure how to handle eating it, but he figured it out well enough.  we've discovered he'd rather eat ice cream with a spoon unless the ice cream is the level of the cone...then he can handle it just fine.

cody found ryan's sweat band in the bathroom and tried it on.  this is what i got when i told him to show me his muscles.

back before i made cody's monkey, i made a cora-lynne doll and a cody doll.  we gave cora-lynne the cody doll when we moved and we found the cora-lynne doll finally with some other stuffed animals.  usually 'monkey' (that's his name) holds 'cora-lynne doll' with his arms folded around her, but occasionally i'll peek in and see this...

we wrapped up a lot of our pictures to protect them for the move and cody had a great time unwrapping them all and seeing who was in the pictures inside.

'you hold me, hippo?'
(said in a little voice like you might use talking to a baby...which cody uses when talking to his animals/toys/isaac)

we emptied this big box, which became cody's house.  he loved having dad stop by for a visit in his 'house.'

it all of a sudden got very quiet in my room one day and i found cody hiding in this table.  don't let the picture fool you (which happened to take right as he bumped his head), he had a great time climbing in and out to 'hide.'

cody remains my very best helper.  i was cleaning the bathroom when cody ran out of the room, went to the kitchen where he found the gloves (apparently), and came back to ask me to help him put the gloves on so he could help me properly.

isaac tried on some of our many 'cool dudes'

first time sitting up in a cart at kohl's.  such a big boy!  he sits up in all the grocery carts now, but especially loves when there are two seats side by side so cody sits next to him.

isaac loves to pull the puzzles off the shelf and play with the pieces.  maybe he has his mom's puzzle-doing genes.

trying out the finger foods....

i go to the gym several times a week  and leave cody and isaac in the kids' play area.  we haven't had any problems with it (aside from a few blowouts from isaac and an accident or two from cody) until some kid bit cody one day.  no serious damage....just needed a bit of ice.

cody found a helmet in the garage and knew just what to do

we thought we'd try out the pool with isaac.  he was not a fan.  especially once cody got in and splashed him.  he may love the bath....but the pool may take some getting used to.

i got this marbleworks set at a yard sale back in california.  we haven't used it much until cody found it in the closet a few days ago.  he is asking me all the time now to 'build a tower mom?'

i know that was a lot of random stuff, but i think it just about catches us up to current happenings!
