minute to win it

a couple from our ward invited us over for a game night with a few other couples.  one of the couples lived close by so their house was set up for babysitting 10 kids (between five couples).  we had dinner and then played minute to win it.

the first game was down the road at the park.  we had to wear....imagine a giant raspberry.....and run down the field and around several cones.  aptly named the raspberry relay.  it was, however, too dark for pictures.

next we played elephant march.  ryan and i were first and totally got killed in the end.  to be fair, we changed the rules to the scoring after a few people took turns.

skittle scurry was pretty entertaining since most of the girls could hardly get a skittle to stay sucked up with a straw, let alone make it clear to the other end of the table to drop it in.

in the last game, chocolate unicorn, one of the team members had to stack seven hostess cupcakes on their forehead.  the funniest part was that the cupcakes expired in 2008 or so.  it was definitely easy to resist the temptation to sneak a bite.

the final standings
(we're 'the umms' - named by ryan)

it was such a fun night, we all decided we'd try to get together every month.  stay tuned for the next group game night....at our house!

The reason there was no other name was because Katie, when asked, said "I don't know". So when I said that was our name she gave me the look, a hearty "love tap" and i quickly changed the name to "uhmm".
In other words, it's not my fault.
