on the drive home, my mom put elmer in bonnie's carseat and bonnie was just fascinated with it. we thought she must be ready for a few toys to look at, so we pulled out our old playmat when we got home. she loves looking at the toys hanging down.
there was an amazon box waiting for cody with a birthday present from beth's family when we got home. it was a lego set that he has been playing with non-stop. he can build a helicopter, boat, or airplane with it and i'm sure we will build each of them before long!
we got back to texas just in time for cody to have his four year appointment and bonnie to have her two month appointment. luckily we could see dr. farnsworth (kirby to most of us and 'kirvy' to cody) back to back and get it all done quickly. his poor nurse, crystal, had to give both of them shots and deal with both of them crying and crying. i'm definitely glad cody won't need any more shots for a long long time. he does not like them and does not hesitate to let everyone know!

length - 23.75 in (85th percentile)
weight - 11.3 lbs (35th percentile)
head - 15.5 in (70th percentile)
she's definitely not as big as the boys, but still pretty tall!
