we love doing the summer reading program at the library out here. they have various activities each week that we've mostly missed because they're the same time as swimming lessons. we decided to head up to the library in willis with kimmie and her girls after lessons one day and happened upon this bird show that was starting later than planned.
this guy had six parrots and a little show that they did. it was so fun to watch!
this parrot did some sports moves. a bit of basketball,
soccer,
biking,
and unicycling (is that even a word?).
this little green guy liked to be swung around overhead or around like a jumprope!
the red parrot did some walking on a ball
and gave a little dove a ride in a wagon and on his back.
this macaw was my favorite. he was chattering in the corner during the pre-show time, but we couldn't ever quite understand him. he did a bit of rollerskating
and skateboarding
and i think the boys loved best when he got the mail!
it was such a fun thing to happen upon!
