the january stuff

we pulled out our dress-up sling for isaac to use with his broken arm before the cast was on and now its kind of hanging around.  bonnie and i found a great new use for it - baby sling!

we just needed to document bonnie's little fairy feet.  our friend, holli mae - who is three weeks older than bonnie, gave us these shoes last april when she grew out of them.  they just now, the following january, are fitting bonnie!  her feet are so little.

i used this new pampered chef dish one night and the handle broke right off when i was pulling it out of the drawer.  i sure miss the old baker that bonnie broke when she cut her leg.  it was much more sturdy!

awesome, random find at ross.  yes please!  our address is so hard to see on the house and impossible at night.  this one is even solar powered and lights up at night.

isn't ironing easier when you sit on a nice, comfy stool?

dad's shoes make the best dress-ups.

isaac got a gift card to dairy queen from his primary teacher for his birthday, so he treated us all.

i remember loving dipped cones when i was little too.  it just seemed so mysterious that they could turn the ice cream upside-down and it wouldn't fall out!

my little best helper.  she saw me getting things out for dinner and ran to get spoons to set the table "mom's, dad's, cody, isaac..."

we usually only go into town on tuesday and thursday when isaac has preschool, but we found ourselves at the library on a wednesday and loved story time!  if only the timing was better.

cody saw that we'd gone to the library so as soon as he was done with his homework, he told isaac that he'd read him some books.  now we've just got to convince bonnie that cody can read books just as well as mom and dad!

we've had the big girl bed set up in bonnie's room since we moved here, but i finally decided it is just time to put it to use.  nap time success!  she just came out once with that 'aren't you glad to see i'm awake?' look.  that night may or may not have been a little more rough, but we are working on it and the pack-n-play is put away until further notice!

remember that stoneware that the handle broke off?  well, i got a new one and we used both to cook chicken one night and then when i took the lid off to set on the counter... it slid off the counter instead.  lots of pieces.  not good luck with these buddies i guess.

the hairs are getting longer!

this is not something that happens ever!  i guess sometimes you're just so darn tired!
