we had some neighbors invite us over for some new years fun. having little kids that have to get to bed becomes a bit limiting for us, so we convinced them to bring the party to our house! we did let the kids stay up with some friends for a while playing and watching movies while the adults played games and ate snacks downstairs. bonnie learned all about what to do with olives...
our awesome friends, the bishop's, stopped by on their way up to utah from thatcher for a quick break. the kids had so much fun in such a short time! all our kids are pretty similar in age but obviously our kids have a little height advantage.

isaac asked to take a selfie with me after they left. i guess i should try to be in a few pictures this year! (he fell down on the bottom stair or two one night after he'd come down to tell me his arms hurt. talk about adding insult to injury. now there's a band-aid on the chin to go with the cast on the arm
