cody has been doing all kinds of fun things lately and learning new things all the time.
he recently learned that the cupboards on the entertainment center can stay open. he sat one day opening and closing on door for several minutes. each time he'd let go it would swing shut. i guess we'll have to start keeping a closer eye on all reachable doors now.
cody's favorite animal sound is clearly the elephant as its the only sound he's tried to make. for a long time he would make a high pitched squeal that we eventually realized was his attempt at copying ryan's elephant sound. here's a glimpse at his latest elephant sound attempt.
cody's been trying lots of new finger foods. beth laughs at him cuz he uses both hands to get the food into his mouth, like one hand needs the other's help.
he likes to have little sips from our big cups sometimes, so i pulled one out that was more his size. he thought drinking from it and playing with it was great fun. he about got too excited to even be able to drink.
he's been getting really good at asking for 'more' (with sign language) and will sometimes fold his arms for the prayer. both kind of look like this.
he's been getting good at waving, but doesn't feel like doing it when we're recording. we did catch a little bit of clapping one night after dinner.
