first swim of the year

it got to the high 90s early this week.  we thought it was the perfect day to head to the pool for the first time this year.  

it was isaac's first trip to the pool, first time in his swimsuit.  he didn't really care about the water either way.  he was just happy to be a part of everything.

we found this little car in the dollar section at target.  cody was content to sit on the step and 'beep' the horn.  

he was a little hesitant at first, but it didn't take him too long to remember how much fun it is to swim with dad.

for anyone who has seen cody's reaction when he lays on his back in the bathtub....we've worked hard to get him over his major fear and he even asked to lay on his back (backwards walrus - like walrus in the 'where's walrus' book) in the water at the pool!  major accomplishment!
