in an effort to go to the temple without abusing the babysitting willingness of our various family members in the area and without paying for babysitting, we did a little swap with some neighbors. we had porter and adele come over to play for an afternoon a couple of weeks ago. adele loved mothering isaac and porter loved vacuuming.
i somehow decided to do something fun and make a project while they were here. as everyone was pretty little, i kept it super simple and cut everything out in advance. they had a great time putting ghosts together and ran around in circles saying 'ooooooo'
yesterday it was our turn to head to the temple so we dropped the kids off just before lunch. i got this picture as we were driving home, so we decided to make it a bit more of a date and went to dinner.
we're so grateful we've made some good friends out here and can do swaps or watch each others kids now and then to get some time away!
