kelby and cora-lynne came!

we were so lucky in october to have some of our very best californian friends come to visit us - the mcmahon's!

hunter travels a lot for work, so kelby and cora-lynne used some of his frequent flyer miles to come and visit us while he had some work in houston!  it worked out perfectly that we could drop grandma and grandpa varga off at the airport and then swing by kelby's hotel to pick them up where we discovered kelby had kept quite a secret.  they're having a baby boy in the spring!

on our way home, we stopped by sam moon.  its a bit of a crazy store to take little kids, but as you can see, cody and cora-lynne were happy as could be with their own baskets to fill with hats, scarves, and anything else they could find.

we checked out a little park down the road where cody spent most of his time watching a cherry picker truck do some tree cutting.  so strange to see how big these two have gotten.  they can sit up in the big swings so well!

we went up to storytime in willis.  we have found its the best storytime in the area and love to go any time i don't have to work on a wednesday morning.

each storytime ends with a craft/activity.  this day they made little ghosts that they could swing around from a popsicle stick.  

it was so fun to have them here for a few days!  i'm so grateful that they took the time to come visit us and i hope we can return the favor soon!  you know its a true friendship when you can pick right up after not seeing each other for months and months and talk as if you hung out the day before!
