cody says some of the funniest things now that he's able to put together full sentences. i try to write down the best things as they happen so that i remember them.

when you ask cody if he wants something he says, 'yeah, sure, yes please' or 'that's right.'
when cody got dressed this morning, he put on his 'big boys'....I look beautiful
on days when he stays dry dry during his nap, cody gets a special treat. he usually asks for a 'mooovie' (smoothie).

we always tell cody he is our best helper. one morning when cody was getting dressed, isaac grabbed his shorts. cody said, 'isaac is best helper!'
one night when we were making dinner, cody suddenly insisted that he needed his goggles. he even knew where they were lost in the garage. aunt annie was so proud.

he loves singing. one of his favorites is 'twinkle twinkle' except that he rarely sings the real words. we read a book from the library where the cows sang 'dooby dooby moo moo moo' so he sings that sometimes. one day after watching a little of ratatouille he was walking around singing 'rabatowee rabatowee.'
once there was a snowman is another favorite. he changes the words sometimes to things like 'once there was a tower tower tower'
we sang 'nephi's courage' one night after reading about nephi for scriptures. cody picked it right up. 'i will go [sticks fist in the air] i will do [sticks other fist in the air]....'
his most favorite song is 'i love to see the temple.' he asks for it before every nap and at bedtime every day.
grandma berta also gave cody a book of color songs. i catch him every once in a while singing 'y-e-l-w spells yellow' (to the tune of 'if you're happy and you know it) or 'r-o-b red r-o-b red' (to the tune of 'are you sleeping')
cody loves getting horsey rides from dad so anytime we move from one room to another, he offers (or demands) to give isaac a horsey ride.

another thing he loves is nursery rhymes (especially since we have a mickey mouse mother goose book and he loves mickey mouse). one day he was helping get dinner ready and started saying 'diddle diddle dumpling my son john.' i hear him saying rhymes while he cleans up all the time.
he has an awesome book called 'goodnight goodnight construction site' that he can quote. all the way through. with no help. and it's not a short book!
