2 and a half

cody's reached the 2 and a half mark.  he keeps us laughing and on our toes.  he's so much fun and continues to be a great helper.

any time we're cooking anything, he wants to help.  he's great at controlling the beaters and especially loves when he gets to have a beater to lick at the end.

when ryan gets home, he is immediately drawn into some kind of fun activity with cody.  cody loves riding their horses around and around the couches and kitchen.  a house isn't a house without some kind of loop right?

he's gotten quite the hang of using the skid loader with the dump truck.  he loves using them together to scoop up anything.  great 'clean up' tool.

any time i take a picture of isaac, cody wants one too.... and then wants to see it.  it takes my phone a minute to load the picture, so i often say 'i'm working on it' when he asks.  now he'll use his phone to take 'pictures' and before he shows them to me he says, 'i'm working on it, i'm working on it'

cody often makes us a delicious meal while i'm in the shower.  when i come out he brings me to the table so we can eat.

we got a wooden train set as a late christmas present (the thomas train we originally got was broken).  cody played trains for days.

while we were in arizona, cody discovered his great love for puzzles.  he loves to put his bigger puzzles together and always asks me to take a picture.

and a few other funny cody moments...

we have 'bedtime rules' to keep cody in bed lately:
stay in your bed, be quiet, close your eyes, and go to sleep
one night when i tucked the boys in, i told isaac to be quiet and go to sleep.  cody said, 'mom! you forgot to close isaac's eyes!'

one day in church, cody lined up all his crayons and said they were a xylophone.

he told me that he learned 'delicious' from great grandma and 'scrumptious' from the wolf (in the wolf's chicken soup - i learned later from grandma)

my favorite cody phrase as of late is 'let's do bis!' (let's do this!) done with a fist pump :)
