start of summer extras

summer is officially underway.  our neighbors invited us over for a memorial day bbq.  they have a foreign exchange student who is awesome.  i guess he loves little kids and sat out on the porch with bonnie for a long time.

pretty much every day looks like this with bonnie around.  she is always wearing her pink dress-up skirt and pushing around the stroller with or without a baby.  (not sure why the picture is blurry)

we're joined by this little girl and her 'pends' (friends) just about every morning.  she shoves them one by one onto the bed and then runs off to grab a stack of books for us to read to her.

i have been looking for a perfect david and goliath picture and a shadow box for years now and finally found some.  i love this sling and rocks from beside the sea of galilee that mom and dad brought back from israel for us.

cody offically started piano lessons once school ended.  he is doing great so far.  we have to set the timer for him mostly to keep the other kids from playing with him.

getting a good picture of this girl is tricky lately.  she loves to say a goofy 'cheese' instead of just smiling.  she's getting so big!

cody and mom waiting around for our visitors to come!

my friend, melissa, sent me this from nursery.  not sure who the little boy is, but the girl on the right is hannah.  they are cute little friends!

this dragon is one of the dress-ups great grandma found for us.  it fits bonnie perfectly and she loves to go around scaring us and then telling us that its just her.

bonnie has the craziest hair when she wakes up.  every once in a while i think to document it.

she does at least let me fix it up.  she calls this style 'minnie mouse ears'

we got something in a huge box one day and the boys took off upstairs with it.  they came up with a whole menu for a restaurant they created.  i was canning and couldn't break away, but i found their menu the next morning.  sad i missed it!

here's my latest project.  i embroidered tea towels right after ryan and i got married and they are now in pieces and shreds, if not already trashed.  i think these are turning out pretty cute.

one day, out and about, i kept hearing bonnie say 'i'm maddie' but had no idea what she meant.  when i turned around, she was doing this - just like a picture at grandma's of maddie.
