i have eaten my words. i used to think people were silly for sending their kids to preschool for two years before kindergarten. that there's no reason for preschool. isaac has been so lonely with cody at school. he asks me multiple times during the day if its time to go get cody (usually around 10 am) and tell me how he needs someone to play with daily. my friend, shelly, told me that an spot opened up in the preschool her sister-in-law runs and that she could probably get isaac in. the timing seemed just perfect and its been a great fit for him so far.
cody wanted to have a picture with isaac on his first day of preschool (now that he's the seasoned veteran of school-going).
brittaney (who does the preschool) had this cute sign and shelly snapped a couple of pictures of isaac for me. the rest of the kids had already been going for two or three days, but he jumped right in. i think a couple of days with friends is going to be a great thing for isaac!

All year last year Avery wanted to go to school and is so excited to go this year. Really, for her it is all about social. But, I really think most of preschool should be social. It makes my days quiet, but she is really enjoying herself. She even likes the days I substitute because it means she gets to stay longer and play!
