here's a perfect little progression of how it goes trying to take a picture of bonnie:
get her in just the right spot, but she doesn't really want to smile yet.
then she starts to come toward the camera, saying 'cheese! cheese!'
then you have to turn it around so she can see what you're taking a picture of and she'll finally give a smile.
happens. every. time.
