bonnie has hit the 18 month mark! hard to believe. it has flown by! a few of her antics of the past month....
this is a bit longer back, but a bit of her talking
"bonnie, who loves raisins?"
"me, me, me!"
what do you do when your baby is stuck in the back of the cupboard? go in after her! oops :)
our hard worker at grandma and grandpa's house.
i love this view. it reminds me so much of sitting on my grandpa bishop's lap in his big chair when i was a little girl.
bonnie discovered this car on isaac's first day of preschool. one of the girls i visit teach also has one in her front yard and bonnie cries if she has to get out or if anyone else gets in!
isaac got the playdough out and bonnie wanted so badly to play. i turned my back for just a minute and came back to purple drool around her mouth. gross!! close close supervision only i guess.
bonnie is really starting to love her baby doll. she carries her all around stuffing a bottle in her face and will rock her in the rocking chair. she loves pushing around the stroller. i think she finally gets what the stroller is about now that we use ours when we go pick up cody.
her hair is starting to get a little bit longer (pretty much just in the back), so i tried to do little curls in it. not quite what i was hoping for, but it was cute. too bad she threw up three times and had to stay home from church anyway...
every once in a while we'll try out sitting on the potty. nothing successful so far, but at least she thinks its fun.
after cody literally flipped out every time he was on his back in the tub and isaac wasn't too thrilled with it either, its quite a change to see bonnie lay on her back of her own accord many times in the bath with a big smile and a 'yay' when she sits back up. 'where's walrus?'
she won't even let me touch the vacuum these days. so thoughtful...
so we found a good compromise.
we went to see one of ryan's co-workers for her check-up, dr. smithson. there were some giant legos in the room, so she made herself right at home.
people sometimes still tell me bonnie looks so big, but she seems so petite to me! after two boys in the 90th percentile, she's so small and actually pretty average.
height 31.5 (50th percentile)
weight 23 lbs 2 oz (50th percentile)
head 19 in (50th percentile)
she has really started saying words this last month. here's a brief list i made a few days ago...
eyes nose chin hairs watch no uh-oh stop please cheese teeth socks shoes surprise dog woof duck quack neigh ooh-ooh (monkey sound) baby bottle mom dad hi buh-bye
she has been so much fun to watch grow. the cute baby sister part is starting to wear off a little and the boys get a little irritated with her from time to time, but they still just love and dote on her. we finally decided to take the gate down from the stairs, so she lives for going up and down. with the gate she'd stand on the stairs behind it and call 'help! help!' and then when someone opened it, she'd slam it shut and call 'help!' she crack me up, even when she's a little irritating :)
