cody and isaac's classes both had field trips to the willis farms pumpkin patch today! bonnie and i went with isaac and his preschool. bonnie hung out in the ergo for the corn maze, so we had to get a little creative to let her see the animals.
here's his class, more or less. i only know a handful of them.
they had these fun wheelbarrows to push around. isaac had a great time pushing kimber.
after we did the corn maze, the owners gave each kid a little tape measure. they could choose any pumpkin that was smaller than the tape measure.
bonnie caught right on to the sitting on pumpkin thing and found several that were just her right size.
we picked one for bonnie and isaac and a big one for our family (in case cody didn't get one)
bonnie also caught right on to sticking her head through the hole to take a picture.
we stopped by the library on our way home to eat a snack from the field trip. bonnie was a little slow, so isaac got bored and laid down on the grass for a while.
we passed cody's bus as we were leaving the pumpkin patch. they stopped at a park in snowflake first to play for a bit. one of my friends went on the field trip with the class, so she sent me a couple of pictures of cody.
we picked him up from the bus with the wagon after school so we could carry home his pumpkin. now we have our pumpkins lined up on the porch waiting for halloween!
