we had a campus heights reunion party on the 1st at our house. the whipple's (who were our resident assistants) live up here in our neighborhood, the jarvis's live in globe (they were up visiting amber's family in snowflake), the adams' live in show low, and the tucker's live in eagar. we barbequed and played and talked. it was so fun to see how much our families have all grown in 10 years and fun to be back together after so many fun times when we were all newly-weds at nau!
our neighbors, the roberts, stake out a great spot on the grass every year to watch the 4th of july parade. they invited us to join their space, so we ventured in to see the parade. it was lots of fun and we saw a few people we know in it.
ryan and i stayed up in the shade, but the kids loved sitting on the curb to wave at everyone and grab candy.
this is what happens when your brother uses a foam bat on your hand. isaac had a bit of a bruise.
we may not have a park close by, but the school is right across the highway from us. it made the perfect outing one morning.
bonnie loves dressing up. 'i'm moana! yay!' she told me.
