we, of course, love to take advantage of having both sets of grandparents close by in arizona and took a couple of days to drive over to sierra vista. we had lots of fun on our visit, but i didn't manage to get my camera out as often as i should have!
first thing's first when you get there - you go check for chicken eggs.
they have all different colors of birds now!
grandma has wisely collected lots of baskets for lots of helpers. i'm pretty sure they checked the chickens at least three times a day.
it was so fun to check for eggs before breakfast and then cook the ones they found for breakfast! don't worry, green and brown eggs are still yellow inside :)
grandpa has a stash of yummy popsicles in the freezer and apparently the kitchen floor is the best place to eat them?
this little set was by far cody's favorite toy to pull out of the closet. we'd clean it up each time we had something to do, but i'd find it out again in a new formation not too long later. cody got so good at putting it together all by himself! (they clearly had just gone to check the chickens - hence the boots with jammies).
we always love visits over to see the varga's - even when they're just quick trips!
