doterra convention

wednesday morning, we drove the rest of the way up to salt lake.  my mom dropped me off at the salt palace for the doterra convention and took the boys out to beth's in wyoming for a few days.

nathaly and i met up just in time to catch our bus down to the new doterra corporate office for a pretty informal tour.

we got a good laugh out of the drive because the bus driver missed the turn three or four times and had to keep driving around.  its not like its a small building you could miss!

the corporate office has lots of fun relaxing areas.  i wouldn't mind working there!  we got these nice backpacks as part of the convention.  very handy to carry around all our stuff!

after the tour was over, nathaly was nice enough to drop me off at nisha's house in draper.  i stayed with nisha's family that night.  tish taught a zumba class that night at her community clubhouse so we drove down to pleasant grove and got to hang out all together again!  after the class (my second with tish in just over a week since she taught one while she was in thatcher for me, annie, and nicole), we went back to her house and stayed up way too late talking and laughing.  luckily chris was nice enough to just roll his eyes at us most of the time :)

nisha and i actually made it clear out to the car before we realized that we hadn't taken any pictures and ran back in for one.  it is not very often that the three of us can get together!

the main part of the convention went thursday through saturday.  it was awesome to meet tons of team members (mostly from georgia) that i've heard about over and over and to meet up with some friends from california!

i had lots of 'warnings' that the convention would just be 'rah rah rah!' and 'sell, sell, sell!'  the naysayers couldn't have been more wrong!  it was super educational.  i'm more impressed than ever with the way the company is run and the way they help companies all over the world that they partner with!  i learned so much!!

callie is one of my 'builders' from conroe.  she was the first one who joined me in the business side of doterra almost a year ago!  she's been awesome and we've had lots of fun building this together.  lori is on my team and a friend from california.  i actually ended up staying with her for the last two nights of the conference.  we did lunch and dinner together most of the time.

callie and i walked through temple square on the way to lunch one day.  it was so peaceful and beautiful.

we found the lion house restaurant, where we went for lunch two days in a row.  at the end of the restaurant the view opens up beautifully!

so grateful for this awesome lady!

i have loved learning about doterra and sharing the blessing of essential oils with friends and family.  i have learned so much about overall health, nutrition, wellness, and fitness since we moved to conroe.  it has been such a blessing to me and my family!
