we took a quick trip down to houston today to go to bailey's birthday party. the freeway through the woodlands was closed, so we had to take a huge detour and got there way later than we planned. we made it in time though!
the kids played a little 'pin the tail on the donkey' and then reversed it for a little 'pin the donkey on the tail.'
and then worked super hard to break the elsa (from frozen) pinata. the kids all took plenty of turns, but it finally took ryan and david giving it a few good swings to get it to break at all.
my job was just to hold lily. i had to document that she sat happily on my lap and didn't even cry a little bit! she has not liked me much so far and usually cries when i even hint that i might hold her. maybe she's finally getting used to me!
bailey had lots of helpers to open her presents
and then we had cupcakes!
such a treat :)
